Gameplay
In this step, we will install mods that improve the general gameplay as well as rebalance the game.
Creating a Separator in MO2
Right-click the empty space in the left pane of MO2 and select Create Separator.
Name the separator Gameplay.
General
Main Files - Attribute Effect Tweaks
Tweaks how Restore/Damage Attribute works on the player. Required by Fortify Max.
Main Files - Fortify MAX
Causes Fortify Magicka and Fortify Fatigue to affect the maximum as well as the current stat.
Main Files - Graphic Herbalism MWSE - OpenMW
You will be prompted with a BAIN installer, here select only the following option and click Ok:
Main Files - GH-AshYamCollisionSwitch
Main Files - GraphicHerbalismLighting
Automatically harvests herbs, instead of opening the container interface. Picked herbs will now have their meshes modified or disappear altogether (they will still respawn). The additional files fix a number of issues with the mod.
Right-click Morrowind Optimization Patch under your Bug Fixes separator, then click Reinstall Mo
You will be prompted with a BAIN installer. Rename the mod to MOP - GH Patch, then select only the following option and click Ok:
This will install the patch as a separate mod.
Right-click Project Atlas under your Bug Fixes separator, then click Reinstall Mod.
You will be prompted with a BAIN installer. Rename the mod to Project Atlas - GH Patch, then select only the following option and click Ok:
This will install the patch as a separate mod.
Main Files - Magicka Expanded
You will be prompted with a BAIN installer, here select Framework and click Ok.
A lua-based framework for creating new, fully functional magic effects. Required by MM - Enhanced Detection.
Main Files - Enhanced Detection
You will be prompted with a BAIN installer, here select only the following option and click Ok:
Main Files - Enhanced Detection Lite
You will be prompted with a BAIN installer, here select Enhanced Detection Less Lite and click Ok.
Adds new Oblivion-inspired visual effects and mechanics for the vanilla detection magic effects. The additional file reduces the amount of new Detection spells added by the mod.
Main Files - Realistic Archery
Arrows and thrown weapons always do damage when they hit a target, but projectiles are less accurate at lower marksman levels, and damage is reduced at close range.
Main Files - Pickpocket
Adds a custom real-time menu to pickpocketing and restores a formerly-useless mechanic.
Main Files - Stealth
Rebuilds stealth mechanics from the ground up, and makes sneaking a viable playstyle.
Main Files - Putting Power in Willpower 2
You will be asked to select a data directory. Right-click Data Files -> Set as data files directory -> OK.
Fixes Willpower not affecting your ability to resist magic, giving all in-game actors, Player, NPCs and Creatures an ability to shrug off spells through the sheer force of will.
Main Files - Useful Bound Armor
Bound armor now uses the normal armor rating formula, taking light armor skill into account, instead of just providing the base rating regardless of skill.
Download and install the mod through MO2.
Levitation speed is now based on Willpower attribute instead of Speed. Calculations are otherwise the same. Includes underwater speed fix by Necrolesian.
Balance
Main Files - Borrowed Time
Prevents Fortify Health and Drain Health effects from killing actors outright, leaving them at least one health point.
Main Files - Magnitude of a Cure
Adds magnitude to cure effects, making them work similarly to dispel and improve the way alchemy game formulas treat such effects.
Download and install the mod through MO2.
Reduces the value of self-made potions; removes disposition gain on succesful barter.
Main Files - Controlled Consumption v1.3.2
Provides a configurable restriction on the amount of potions the player can consume at any one time, removing one of the largest exploits in the game.
Main Files - DungeonsRest
Hostile NPCs and creatures' health, magic, and fatigue are reset to full when you enter interior cells.
Main Files - Realistic Movement Speeds
Modifies movement speeds when strafing or backpedalling so that they are more realistic. NPCs and player alike will no longer be able to fire volleys of arrows while running backwards to safety. Movement direction is now tactically important.
Main Files - Realistic Repair
Once the mod has been installed, double-click on it in the left pane of MO2.
In the Filetree tab, right-click Realistic_Repair_Optional.ESP and select Hide.
When an NPC dies, all their equipped gear is damaged. Optionally makes it so that repair hammers can only be used by activating an anvil, and prongs used by activating a forge. Fully customizable.
Main Files - sneaky-strike
Modifies critical strike coefficient depending on the weapon you use. Long and heavy weapons are less suitable for critical strikes.
Overhauls
Main Files - Expansion Delay
Fixes Bethesda's overly enthusiastic expansion hooks by delaying the Dark Brotherhood attacks (for Tribunal) and limiting intrusive dialogue topics to a few NPCs (Bloodmoon).
Main Files - Ownership Overhaul
Once the mod has been installed, double-click on it in the left pane of MO2.
In the Filetree tab, right-click Ownership Overhaul.ESP and select Hide.
Assigns ownership to the many, many items and containers that rightly should be owned but weren't, and otherwise makes adjustments to item ownership.
Divayth Fyr Puzzle Fixed overwrites a questionable change from Ownership Overhaul that caused Divayth Fyr to go hostile on the player if they engaged on the treasure hunt sidequest. For this reason, we will skip installing that mod's patch, which reintroduces the issue.
Download and install the mod through MO2.
Fixes the biggest exploits and balance issues in the game.

Main Files - Tribunal Rebalance
Rebalances Tribunal as if it shipped with Morrowind.
Main Files - Bloodmoon Rebalance - Patch for Purists version
Rebalances Bloodmoon as if it shipped with Morrowind.
