Tweaks

In this step, we will install quality of life improvements and minor gameplay tweaks that do not make invasive changes to the vanilla experience.

Creating a Separator in MO2

  • Right-click the empty space in the left pane of MO2 and select Create Separator.

  • Name the separator Tweaks.

  • Download the mod and install through MO2.

Increases the duration it takes for containers to respawn from 3 days to 7 days.

  • Download the mod and install through MO2.

Increases the distance required for NPCs to greet you; reduces sneak height to make it more obvious to the player when they are sneaking.

  • Main Files - Just Drop It

Dropped items and corpses are automatically positioned and oriented to align with the ground.

  • Main Files - MWSE Hide the Skooma

Automatically hides your drugs so you don't have to dump them on the floor in order to trade.

  • Main Files - Diligent Defenders v1.2

When the player or the player's companions are attacked, any companions will launch into action in defense.

  • Main Files - Easy Escort v1.3

Ensures that your followers get warped to you if they get too far away. Compatible with any follower from any mod, without any special script attached to that NPC.

  • Main Files - Sophisticated Save System v2.0

Provides more types of autosaves, as well as a rotating list of quicksaves/autosaves so that the player always has a save to go back to.

  • Main Files - Better Buoyancy

Adds new controls for swimming and levitating. Use the jump key to float upwards, and the sneak key to sink downwards.

  • Main Files - Kill Command

Adds a configurable hotkey that will send all companions to attack whatever you are currently looking at.

Adds hotkeys for lockpicks and probes, as well as hotkey cycling options, ordering options, and auto-equip options for activating locked or trapped objects.

  • Main Files - SmartAmmo102

Ammo autoequip while bow/crossbow/thrown weapon readied. It will remember and prefer last hand-picked ammo if pressing Alt while equipping it.

  • Main Files - Torch Hotkey

  • Install the downloaded archive using manual install in MO2.

Adds a hotkey for equipping light sources, prioritizing already used lights.
